The whiteboard doesn't know what was in the poll, and the quiz doesn't know who signed the attendance list. Create a free account and run one part of your next training session in Verbalu, for example a quiz at the end or a word cloud at the start. The rest stays where it is.

Build the agenda for one training session: sign-ups, attendance list, whiteboard, poll, quiz, certificate. Keep your current tools open in a second tab as a backup.
Decide at renewal
When one of your subscriptions comes up for renewal, you already have your own experience and results from a real group. You cancel only what you no longer use.
As long as you keep your current subscriptions, your old boards and quizzes stay where they are. Below we say what you can bring in and what no import carries over.

What to bring in, how, and what doesn't carry over
We don't have an importer that rebuilds a Miro board element by element. We do have imports for the formats these tools themselves export to. Miro's own migration guide says that only 10-15% of content usually remains actively used and relevant, so bring in what you will use again.

Files count toward your plan's storage: 20 MB on the free plan, 50 MB on Pro and 200 MB on Pro + AI. So leave the archive where it is and bring in what you will actually use to run sessions.
Three honest answers
You have reasons to hesitate. Here are straight answers.
A new tool in front of a group is a risk that you carry, not us. That is why each answer also says what we don't have.
“Verbalu is a young product”
That's true. So instead of asking you to trust us on credit, we leave you a way out at any time.
- You pay monthly. You risk US$12, not a year paid up front.
- If you cancel, the account goes back to the free plan and nothing is deleted.
- You can download results, whiteboards, the knowledge base and designs as Excel, CSV, PDF, PNG and Markdown, on the free plan too. Quiz questions come out as Excel or JSON, and the whole account as one ZIP file.
- Behind the product is Octigo, a company that has been running training since 2006.
What we don't have: An uptime guarantee (SLA).

Let them stay there. You don't have to move anything to run your next training session here.
- As long as you keep your current subscription, your archive stays where it is. You only decide about it at renewal.
- What you will use again comes in as a file: PDF, image, Kahoot spreadsheet, CSV, PPTX.
- The rest is often faster to build from scratch: the AI wizard drafts a quiz or a course from your materials.
- You start new whiteboards from a template, or from a description that AI turns into a diagram.
What we don't have: An importer that turns a Miro board into editable elements. A board you bring in is a document to view.

- Join the demo session from your own phone and see the participant's side before you create an account.
- Participants don't install anything and don't create accounts: a code, a link or a QR code in the browser.
- The database and files run on Google Cloud in the European Union, and the database is backed up every week.
- For your first sessions, keep your current tool open in a second tab. That is what starting alongside means.
- Availability is measured by an independent, external monitor. You can see the current state and the history on the public status page.
What we don't have: An ISO 27001 certificate, a SOC 2 report or an external penetration test. We say so on our security page.

Honestly
When you are better off staying with what you have
Verbalu is not a better Miro or a bigger Kahoot. It is one place for the whole training session. If you need one of those tools at full scale, stay with it and run the rest in Verbalu.
Stay with your whiteboard if
- you work on it with your team every day, rather than only running workshops,
- you need its integrations with the tools your client works in,
- polls and quizzes for up to 50 people right on the board are enough for you: Miro includes them in its Business plan.
Stay with your polling tool if
- you run interactions straight from PowerPoint slides and need an add-in for that,
- you run events for several thousand people at once,
- your client requires SSO sign-in over SAML.
Stay with your quiz tool if
- you play with thousands of people at once,
- participants know it from school and that familiarity is part of the fun,
- your client requires the vendor to have an ISO 27001 certificate or a SOC 2 report.

FAQ
Questions trainers ask before changing tools
Verbalu is a young product. What if something doesn't work?
The free plan lets you test everything with your own group of up to 30 people before you pay anything. For your first sessions, keep your current tool open in a second tab as a backup. If something doesn't work, write to hello@verbalu.com: the people who build the product answer.
What happens to my content if I cancel?
If you cancel a paid plan, the account goes back to the free plan and nothing is deleted. You can download results to Excel and CSV, whiteboards as PDF and PNG, sticky notes as CSV, the knowledge base as a ZIP of Markdown files, and designs as PNG, PDF or PPTX. You can download quiz questions as an Excel spreadsheet or a JSON file, and the organization owner can download the whole account at once as one ZIP file.
Can I move my boards over from Miro?
Not as editable boards: we don't have a Miro importer. You can drag a board or frames exported to PDF or an image onto a Verbalu whiteboard as a document to browse and present. We suggest moving only what you will use again. Miro says that when a subscription ends, boards are locked in view-only mode and are not deleted, but its terms give 30 days to export, after which content may be deleted. So export what matters before you cancel.
How do I move questions from Kahoot and from my polling tool?
You load quiz questions from an .xlsx file in Kahoot's import template. Kahoot has no export of finished quizzes, so you need to have that spreadsheet or fill it in. You load survey questions from a CSV file: one question per row. It is often faster to upload your training material and ask the AI wizard for a draft.
Will it work on participants' phones and on a client's network?
Participants join in a phone or computer browser: with a code, a link or a QR code, no account and no install. Corporate networks vary, so before a session with a new client, test one session from their network. The simplest way is to join the demo session.
Will Verbalu replace everything I use?
The whiteboard, live polls, quizzes, sign-ups, attendance lists, certificates, courses and knowledge base: yes, to the extent you need for running training. It won't replace the video call (Zoom, Teams, Meet) or a whiteboard used every day for project work. In that case run the training session in Verbalu and leave the rest where it is.
How many trainers does one fee cover?
The Pro and Pro + AI plans cover up to 10 accounts in one organization. One owner pays and the whole organization uses the plan. Training participants are not accounts and don't count toward this limit. Larger teams get a custom quote.
How do I pay and how do I cancel?
By card, monthly, through Stripe. You can cancel any month on the billing page in the app. The account then goes back to the free plan and nothing is deleted, so in a month with no training you don't have to pay. The AI credit packs you bought stay.
Where is my data and my participants' data?
The database and files are on Google Cloud in the European Union. You, as the organizer, are the controller of participant data, and Verbalu processes it on your instructions. The organization owner can download the data processing agreement (DPA) template in the app. The details, including what we don't have, are on the Security & data page.
Can I use Verbalu together with Zoom or Teams?
Yes. Verbalu runs in the browser alongside the call: you share your screen and participants join with a code on their own devices. Verbalu does not run the video call.
I already have Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. Isn't that enough?
For your own team's meetings it often is: Microsoft 365 includes the Whiteboard app, forms and quizzes in Forms, and polls in Teams meetings, and Google has Forms and audience Q&A in Slides. Verbalu is for people who run training for outside groups: participants join with one code and no account, and you also get quizzes with a leaderboard, games, sign-ups, attendance lists, certificates and courses in one place.
