Board Race
A quiz that looks like a game board. Every participant has their own pawn drawn in 3D, standing on the start field of a square board. The whole room gets the same question at the same moment, and a pawn travels further the faster somebody taps the correct answer: six fields for an instant answer, down to zero on the buzzer. A wrong answer costs a field. The first pawn all the way round the board wins.
What is the Board Race game?
The trainer writes a set of single-choice questions with four answers (or imports them from a Quiz Show set or a quiz, or has AI draft them), then picks the board size, the time to answer and how many special fields there are. Participants join by QR code, type a name and get their own pawn on one shared track. A turn does not end until the whole room has answered or the time runs out, so nobody is left behind by a slow phone and nobody runs ten questions ahead of the rest.
When the turn closes, every pawn hops at once and only then can you see whose reflexes paid off. Three correct answers in a row earn an extra field, five let a player point at anybody on the board and push that pawn back three fields, so a lead is never safe. The special fields are waiting there too: a green arrow carries a pawn three fields on, a red one sends it three back, an hourglass takes a turn away and a die adds one to six fields. Every player watches their own pawn up close and at an angle and zooms out to the whole board with one button, while the trainer has the join code, the QR code, the live standings and the same board in wide shot on the projector.

Faster means further
A correct answer is not worth a point, it is worth distance: six fields for an instant answer, fewer with every second, zero on the buzzer. A wrong answer costs a field, so guessing at random actually hurts instead of merely not paying off.
The whole room in one turn
Everybody gets the same question at the same moment, and the turn only resolves once the last person has answered or the time has run out. Nobody is racing their own reading speed, so the result says something about knowledge rather than about the phone.
Special fields and the die
A green arrow carries a pawn three fields on, a red one sends it three back, an hourglass takes the next turn away and a die adds one to six fields. They are placed at random on every run, so the same group never plays the same board twice.
A streak that can hurt
Three correct answers in a row earn an extra field, and five let a player point at any pawn on the board and push it back three fields. Whoever is in front is first in line for a push-back, and the room works that out immediately.
A 3D board on a phone
A participant watches their own pawn up close and at an angle, then zooms the camera out to the whole board with one button. The hops, the dust, the confetti and the fireworks at the finish are drawn by the browser itself, in portrait or landscape, with nothing to install.

Step by step
How it works
Prepare a question set
Write single-choice questions with four answers, import them or ask AI. Set the board size (24, 32 or 40 fields), the time to answer and how many special fields there are, then try the set yourself against three computer-controlled rivals.
Open a race
Start a run and show the QR code on the projector. Participants scan it, type a name and take their place on the start field with a pawn colour of their own. Once everybody is on the board you tap start and the countdown runs.
Run the race from the projector
The console shows the question with its clock, the answer counter, the standings with every player's field, streak and accuracy, and the board in wide shot. All you do is comment - the turns move on by themselves.
Debrief the hard questions
After the race you get the podium and the list of questions the whole room missed most, with a CSV export. Ready material for the debrief and a hint about what to go over next time.
