Live event screen

Social Wall

An event screen for a projector, an office TV or a conference foyer monitor: the agenda with the current item, countdowns and announcements, participant photos with moderation, and a QR code that takes people straight into a quiz or crossword with a live ranking.

What is Social Wall?

Social Wall is a screen that runs the event alongside you - on the projector in a training room, on a TV in the office or on a monitor in a conference foyer. It shows everything people look up for: the event and partner logos, the agenda with the current item highlighted and a “next in 12 min” note, a countdown to the end of the break, a clock, a news ticker, sponsor logos and announcements, on a background in your colours, a photo or a looped video.

The QR code on the screen opens a participant page on the phone, with no account needed. From there people join the linked quiz or crossword, send a photo, check the agenda and send reactions. The wall shows that session's ranking live, a photo gallery with manual moderation or auto-publish, and floating hearts and applause. A photo can only be sent after ticking the consent box, the phone strips EXIF data and location from it, and after the event you download the gallery as a ZIP or let it delete itself after the number of days you choose.

You design the wall's look once and keep it in your library, then launch each showing as a separate session with its own code, schedule, gallery and a screen link that opens on a TV without logging in. Social Wall deliberately does not pull posts from Instagram, X or LinkedIn: it shows only what people at the event have sent, so nothing random ends up on the screen.

See it in action

One screen, the whole room joins in

The TV in the room shows the agenda with the current item highlighted, a QR code, a photo gallery and the quiz ranking. A participant scans the code with their phone, ticks the consent box and sends a photo. The host approves it with one click and the photo lands in the mosaic on the screen. Moments later the ranking reorders live, hearts float up from the room and the agenda moves on to the next item by itself.

Features

Key capabilities

  • 10 layouts, landscape and portrait

Full screen, left or right sidebar, top or bottom bar, two and three columns, a 2×2 grid, a mosaic with the QR code in the corner and spotlight. Blocks in one cell rotate like a playlist: gallery 30 s, ranking 20 s, agenda 15 s.

  • An agenda that keeps up with the day

In auto mode the current item is highlighted by the clock and the screen shows when the next one starts. In manual mode you tap “next” on your phone and push the rest of the day back by a few minutes in one move. Paste the agenda as text or CSV, or let AI read it.

  • One QR code for everything

A participant page on the phone with no login: join the linked quiz or crossword, send a photo, check the agenda and send reactions that appear on the wall.

  • Live ranking

Scores from the linked quiz, crossword, solo game, quiz show or memory game update on the screen in real time, also in daily, weekly or monthly cycles.

  • Gallery with moderation and consent

Photos wait for your approval or publish automatically. Participants tick a consent box, the phone strips EXIF data and location, photos are deleted after the number of days you set, and you can download the whole gallery as a ZIP.

  • Schedule and manual control

Always on, once for a chosen date and time range, or recurring on selected weekdays and hours with days off, in the wall's own time zone. Outside those hours show a screensaver, a black screen or just the gallery, and the Start, Pause and Stop buttons work at any moment.

  • Your event's look

Logo and partner logo, accent colour, a background from a colour, gradient, photo or looped video, plus a clock, a countdown to the end of the break, a news ticker, sponsor logos and announcements you can put up instantly.

Step by step

How it works

  1. Design the wall

Choose the layout and orientation, add the logo, colours and background, arrange blocks in the cells and paste the agenda. The design stays in your library for the next edition of the event.

  2. Launch a session

Each showing is a separate session with its own code, schedule and gallery. Link the quiz or crossword whose ranking should appear on the screen.

  3. Open the link on the TV

The screen link works without logging in: a Chromecast with Google TV, a Fire TV Stick or a mini PC with Chrome is enough, and digital signage systems such as Yodeck add it as a web page. You can regenerate the link at any time.

  4. Run it from your phone

Approve photos, switch agenda items, push the rest of the day back, put up announcements and, if needed, pause the screen with the Pause button.

Use cases

What it’s good for

  • Conference foyer: the agenda with the current talk, a countdown to the end of the break, sponsor logos and participant photos on the monitor by registration
  • One-day training: the screen in the room shows the plan for the day and a code to the quiz with a live ranking, and during breaks a gallery of photos from the workshop
  • Onboarding week: a TV by reception with the agenda for the coming days, welcomes for new starters and photos from the first meetings
  • Office TV: a weekly crossword with a ranking that resets every Monday, and team announcements shown only during working hours
  • Company offsite and team building: a shared, moderated photo gallery, reactions from phones and the team games ranking on the screen in the room
  • I want to show the agenda with the current item, a clock and a QR code on a screen instead of switching slides
  • I'm looking for a moderated wall of participant photos, without social media hashtags
