Team-building game
Scavenger hunt
The summer-camp scavenger hunt, rebuilt for the training room and the video call. Teams race the clock to collect photos, links and ideas for the items on a list, then present their collections, win points and vote for the best one.
What is the Scavenger hunt game?
A team energiser that works just as well round one table as on a video call. You prepare a list of things to find, make or photograph - from “recreate a famous painting with what you have around you” to “find a pricing page you understand in 10 seconds”. Every item has points, a kind of proof and an optional bonus, and a list longer than the time allows makes the teams choose and split the work.
Participants join from their phones with a QR code or a six-letter code and are dealt into teams. Everybody adds proof to their team's shared collection, while the trainer screen shows the race, the latest finds and the first team to cover the whole list. Then each team presents its collection, you judge the items, the room votes for its favourite collection (never its own) and the results close the game with a ranking and awards.

Features
Key capabilities
One list, many groups
Write a list once and run it with every new group. Each item has points, the proof you expect (a photo, a link, text or anything) and an optional bonus. Paste a list you already have or start from one of three ready-made ones.
Proof straight from the phone
A photo shrunk on the phone, a link or a few words - every team member adds proof to the team's shared collection. A find made without signal waits on the phone and is sent once the connection is back.
A live race
A countdown synced to the server: 10 to 60 minutes or no limit, with a +5 min button. The screen shows every team with a dot per item and the latest finds, and announces the first team to cover the whole list. Phones show the race too.
Presentations with your verdict
Each team's collection goes up on the big screen in turn, with a time box of 1 to 5 minutes. For every item you decide: 0, the full points or the points plus the bonus.
Votes and awards
Everybody votes for their favourite collection, never their own team's. A ranking by points or by votes, a "Room's favourite" award and a "First to finish" badge. Choose points plus a vote, points only or a vote only.
In the room and remote
2 to 50 people in 2-12 teams with animal names you can change. Participants are dealt into teams or pick their own, with no accounts to create. Works round one table, in a hybrid session and fully remote.
Step by step
How it works
Pick or write a list
Start from a ready-made list: a warm-up, getting to know a remote team or hunting for good product patterns. Or paste your own list, or write the items from scratch.
Launch it and show the code
Participants join from their phones with the QR code or the code, type their name and are dealt into teams, or pick one themselves. Set the hunt time and how the winner is decided.
Start - the teams hunt
The clock starts and the teams collect proof for the items. You watch the race on the screen and add 5 minutes when needed.
Presentations, vote, results
Each team shows its collection, you judge the items, the room votes for its favourite collection and the screen shows the ranking and the awards.
Use cases
What it’s good for
- Opening a workshop or a company offsite: an energiser after which the teams are already talking.
- Remote teams: views from windows, favourite mugs and childhood songs - the things nobody sees on the daily calls.
- Onboarding new people: a shared mission that lets them get to know the team naturally.
- Product or UX workshops: hunting for good patterns on the web as material for the discussion that follows.
- Hybrid meetings: teams in the room and at home play by the same rules.
- A break in a long training or at a conference: half an hour of moving, laughing and competing that gives the group its energy back.
