Training game
Doodle postcards
Everybody starts a postcard with one shape, then the cards travel round a circle and each person adds exactly one thing. After five steps the room is looking at wild, weird and funny postcards nobody would have come up with alone.
What is the Doodle postcards game?
An improv warm-up that builds a group's creative confidence. The trainer reads simple instructions: draw a shape, make something out of it, add context, add action, add words. After every step the cards move to the neighbour, so nobody owns a drawing and nobody needs to be able to draw.
It all happens on phones: the same pen for everybody, cards passed on with one button, a live wall of every postcard on the trainer screen. At the end, a gallery with hearts, a step-by-step replay of how each card grew, and whoever wants sends a chosen design as a postcard with a personal message to another participant.

Every postcard passes through five pairs of hands
Features
Key capabilities
Cards that travel by themselves
The console splits the room into even circles and passes every card on with one button. Everybody sees who handed them the card and who gets it next.
Your instructions
The five classic steps or a sequence of your own: reword, reorder, add a step, decide when writing is allowed. An optional theme, such as holiday cards.
A live wall
On the trainer screen every postcard grows in front of the room, with who holds it now and who is done. An optional timer runs on the server clock.
Gallery and hearts
Everybody gives three hearts to favourite postcards. Put chosen cards on the screen and replay them step by step, coloured by who added what.
A postcard to someone else
Everybody draws one person, picks a design from the gallery and writes an insight or a thank-you on the back. The recipient saves the postcard as a picture.
In the room and online
Join with a code or QR code, no accounts. Works the same round one table, in a hybrid session and fully remote - no online whiteboard, no dragging images around.
Step by step
How it works
Create a session and show the code
Participants join from their phones with the QR code or the six-character code. Set the time per step and, if you like, a theme.
Start - the console builds the circles
The room splits into circles of about five. Everybody draws the first shape on their own empty card.
Pass the cards on
After each step one button hands the cards to the neighbours and opens the next instruction. You watch every postcard live.
Gallery, hearts and postcards
Show favourite cards on the screen, replay how they grew and - if you like - let everybody send each other postcards.
Use cases
What it’s good for
- Opening a workshop: a warm-up after which nobody is afraid of the paper and the marker.
- Bringing a new team together: shared laughter and a first "we made this together".
- Creativity and design thinking workshops: getting comfortable with imperfect ideas.
- Remote and hybrid meetings: drawing together without an online whiteboard.
- Closing a training: postcards with personal takeaways for other participants.
- Holiday and celebration meetings: a theme on the card and ready-made greeting cards.
