Group game

Memory

Every participant gets the same shuffled grid of term and definition cards. Click two, a match vanishes - and whoever clears the board first wins. The trainer watches the live ranking.

What is the Memory game?

Memory turns any glossary into a race. The trainer types or pastes term–definition pairs, participants join with a QR code and each of them clicks matching pairs on the same shuffled board - a hit disappears, a miss flashes red and counts as a mistake.

It works with any subject that has vocabulary to master: project management terms, legal concepts, product names, foreign words. Two to thirty pairs, an optional time limit, and a final answer key to debrief from.

Features

Key capabilities

  • Paste a whole list

One pair per line, split by a tab, dash or colon - a spreadsheet column pastes straight in. Or type the pairs one by one.

  • The same board for everyone

Cards are shuffled once, so every participant races on an identical grid - the comparison is fair.

  • Optional time limit

Set the clock and the game ends itself, or leave it open and end the race by hand.

  • Live ranking

Pairs cleared, mistakes and finish times on the projector as they happen - with a podium and the full answer key at the end.

Step by step

How it works

  1. Enter the pairs

Type or paste the term–definition list and optionally set a time limit.

  2. Participants join

Project the QR / letter code; joining takes a first name, no accounts.

  3. Start the race

Everyone clicks pairs on the same shuffled board; matches vanish, misses count.

  4. Debrief

The podium and the answer key close the exercise - linger on the most-confused pairs.

Use cases

What it’s good for

  • Revising the key terminology at the end of a training day.
  • A warm-up that checks what the group remembers from last time.
  • Vocabulary drills in language courses or onboarding programs.
  • Revise terminology as a race rather than a worksheet
  • An exercise matching concepts to their definitions
  • Check what the group remembers from the previous session
