Team work on one case
Episodic case study
One case, several weeks, many teams. You release the episodes one by one, and teams write shared works that you comment on, show in class and grade in one place.
What is Episodic case study?
You write the case once: an intro about the company and the people, and the episodes - each with its situation, a task for the teams, a work template and assessment criteria only you can see. Then you run it with a group: every group and every year gets its own run with a code and QR, its own teams and its own episode plan.
Students join with the code and form teams. Each team writes one shared work per episode - several people at once in the same document, nobody overwriting anybody. You comment fragments, send your remarks back with one click, show the works on the projector and release the next episode - with a click or at a set time.
How it works
From an episode to the show in class
Features
Key capabilities
A case written once
An intro and episodes with a task, a work template, a length hint and assessment criteria. You run the same case with every new group.
Episodes released one by one
Release the next episode with a click or give it a date and time - separately for each group. Before release, nobody can read even its title.
Teams three ways
Students pick a team themselves, you assign them, or the app draws them at random. A personal code brings a student back on another device as the same person, no account needed.
Shared work without overwriting
Several people write in the same document at once: changes merge, nobody overwrites anybody, and everybody sees who else is in the work. Any team member sends it.
Comments on fragments
Mark a fragment and add a comment for the team, a "Good example" highlight or a private note. You send the remarks together, with a decision: revise or accepted.
Show it in class
The teams' works on the projector, full screen: the arrow keys move between teams, names can be hidden, and the tile view shows all works at once.
Instant AI review
Optionally, every sent work gets an AI review against your criteria within about a minute. A limit per team and episode keeps the cost under control.
Grades and the matrix
Grade the team and correct the grade of a single person. The matrix shows all teams and episodes in one table, with a CSV export.
The phone app
Students get a push about a new episode, read the case and the episodes even offline, see your comments and send the work from their phone.
